A collection of images taken from the High Uinta Mountians of north eastern Utah. This is the only range in the lower 48 to have an east-west orientation. Among the many 12 & 13,000 foot peaks are deeply carved glacial morraines and valleys. What remains are over 1,000 lakes of various sizes and shapes that provide endless backcountry opportunites for hiking, backpacking and fishing. This range is certainly a jewel of the state of Utah.
